Q: How do I register for classes?
All registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Q: Are scholarships available?
A: Scholarships are available. Scholarship recipients can receive up to one free class per semester. Additional classes are regular price. All scholarship and financial information are kept confidential. Scholarship forms may also be found online at www.mckinneycenter.com and can be submitted electronically. Q: Is there a payment plan available?
A: Payment plans may be available depending on the class, the cost of the class, and date of registration.
Q: Are supplies included in the registration fee?
A: Class supplies are included in the tuition fee unless otherwise noted in the class description.
Q: What happens if a class is cancelled?
A: Jonesborough’s Mary B. Martin Program for the Arts reserves the right to cancel, combine or reschedule classes as needed. Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment will be cancelled one week in advance of the start date. Students will be notified by email if a class has been cancelled and will receive a full refund.
Q: What is the inclement weather policy?
A: In case of inclement weather, The Mary B. Martin Program for the Arts follows the Washington County Public School System closure schedule. Faculty will work with students and/or guardians to schedule make-up classes for weather closings or any other reason.
Q: Are there classes during school breaks and holidays?
A: Yes. Due to having students across several school districts we hold classes during Fall and Spring breaks and holidays unless otherwise informed by the instructor or McKinney Center Staff. Check the class description for specific class meeting days and times.
Q: What is the check-in procedure for class?
A: Students should arrive promptly on time for their class. Please refer to your confirmation email and class reminder email regarding check-in procedures. Guardians must send the McKinney Center Director an email or written statement if they wish their students to walk to and from class. Guardians may leave or wait for their student in the designated waiting area. Guardians are not allowed in class areas unless approved by the Director.
Q: My class is at the JRT. What are their policies?
A: Contact the JRT for details. *McKinney Center policies do not apply to classes held at the JRT.
